My name is Kris Crousore and I am a front end web developer, print designer and father of two. I have been doing design work professionally for about 2.5 years now. Some of that time includes 3 years of studying print design, web design and digital video production at Platt College San Diego.
I graduated January 2007 with my Bachelors Degree and have been focusing more on web design and development as my niche. I am currently working as the lead developer with NAMTRA media and also co-author on dedestruct.com.
I got bored this evening and thought I’d check who’s linking to my site, that’s always fun to do. Well I came across this myspace profile…the guy ripped the css right off of my profile which happened to have a link to a tiny image to repeat on the body tag. So I thought, aww what the heck, i’ll get some free advertising off this guy for a little bit. Here it is:
I wonder how long it’ll take him to notice :)
UPDATE: took him only 3 days to notice.
Dedestruct.com is a site to help budding designers adopt best practices. The site is littered with tutorials ranging from cross browser transparency to Image protection, all the way down to simple stuff like how to save for web with photoshop.
Stumped on something you’re developing on? You can submit your question to be answered by one of the dedestruct authors! And if it’s a good topic your question could be published to help more people with the same problem. There is even opportunity to be a guest author or become part of the development team and share your knowledge with everyone out there.
So, if you have any interest in web design or development, or even just design you will like dedestruct.com. If you don’t like it, i’ll buy you the internet…promise.
